BEER FILTER CLOTH
- This cloth gets its patina from a brief stint filtering hops and barley at large American beer manufacturing plants. Breweries cycle through the cloth to the tune of 100,000 tons ANNUALLY because it can only filter efficiently for a short time. We’ve salvaged and repurposed used cloth into bags that are tough and durable, yet soft and lightweight.
- This red mesh is corporate waste, originally serving as a massive outdoor backdrop for a multi-day, live event in the entertainment industry. Meant for the outdoors, it’s a lightweight, see-through material that manages to be super strong and durable at the same time!
SILVER CAR COVER
- This sleek silver car cover fabric is waste from the container shipping industry, previously protecting vans that were too large to be shipped inside cargo containers. Meant to withstand the elements on a long transocean journey, this fabric is waterproof, salt-water safe, UV-protected, and reflective to protect from both salt and sun damage.
- Designed to save lives, this high tech material is sourced from factory end rolls trashed during airbag production. Each airbag backpack diverts the equivalent CO2 from the landfill as planting 6 trees, driving 300 miles in a passenger car, or charging a smart phone every night for 49 years!
